Student Council | Claremont High School Student Council Section
About the Student Council:
The student council’s main aim is to make the school better. As a council we listen to the pupil voice and act on many of their concerns. As well as trying to sort out school issues we have tried to raise awareness of many important issues such as bullying and the situation in Afghanistan. We are also actively involved in raising funds for different causes such as Afghan Aid.
What the Student Council has done so far:
Introduced new pupil surgeries for pupils to air their views
Created a section on the MLE which allows pupils to take part in online forums
Organised the anti-bullying week poster competition and assemblies
Raised awareness and funds for Afghan Aid.
Issues:
If you have any issues about the school then please feel free to contact any one of the student council team or you can contact Mr Skordi who can put you in touch with one of the members.
