ICT Department | Claremont High School

ICT at Claremont enjoys a track record of success at all levels but especially at KS4 where 97% of pupils in 2008 passed their AiDA exam with grades C or above, also 100% of pupils entered for the CiDA passed with grade C or above. The department has led the way in the use of the MLE (Managed/Virtual Learning Environment), which allows pupils to access resources, hand in work and work collaboratively form school or home. Within ICT lessons new software and hardware such as Scratch (a computer programming program), Google Sketch-Up, Serif, Adobe and Matchware are used to make lessons exciting and interesting.
