Terrific A Level results for 2024!

Thursday 15th August 2024 saw another terrific set of A Level results for Claremont High School in Kenton with 30% of students achieving A* and A grades and 60% achieving A* to B. In Further Maths, 75% of students achieved A* or A grades with 83% gaining A to B. In Maths, 45% of students achieved A* or A grades and 53% gained the same in Physics.

 

‘We are absolutely delighted with these fantastic outcomes,’ says Headteacher Ms Hyde-Boughey, ‘they represent the incredible hard work of our students, their families and the teachers.’

 

Among the top-grade pupils were Josh Patel, aged 18, who got four A* in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics. ‘I’m very happy,’ says Josh, ‘it was stressful but hard work pays off. I’m thankful to all our teachers.’ He’s now planning to study Maths at UCL. Arpita Bhagat, also 18, got three A* in Maths, Business and Product Design. ‘I spent a lot of time revising for the exams,’ she says, ‘it was nerve-wracking but it feels worth it now.’ She plans to go to King’s College to study Accounting and Finance. Caleb Adamu, 18, got three A’s in Biology, French and Drama and an A* in Chemistry. Saying he felt ‘happy and relieved’ with his results, Caleb now plans to study Dentistry at King’s. Naomi Bogdan, 18, got an A* in Sociology and A’s in Biology and Geography. ‘I’m pleasantly surprised,’ she says. ‘I’m glad the hard work paid off!’ She also plans to go to King’s College to study Geography and Environmental Science.

 

‘The school is incredibly proud of all our students,’ Ms Hyde-Boughey adds. ‘We wish them all the very best for the next steps in their exciting journeys.’
