Claremont High School A-level results 2026

This year’s A-level results continue the school’s tradition for top grades, with 11% of students achieving three or more A*’s or A’s.

Headteacher Ms Hyde-Boughey said: ‘We are delighted with the outstanding results our students have achieved this year. Their dedication, resilience and hard work have truly paid off, reflecting the exceptional commitment of our pupils, staff and parents.’

Among the top-grade students were Asher Siddiqui, aged 18, who got three A*’s in Politics, Maths and Economics. ‘I’m absolutely speechless,’ said Asher, ‘I could not have done this without the support of all the teachers at Claremont. I am so happy! Genuinely a dream come true.’ He’s now planning to study Economics, Law and Environment at Cambridge University. Meha Raghvani, also 18, got two A*’s in Biology and Psychology and two A’s in PE and an EPQ. ‘I am extremely excited with my results,’ she said. ‘I am thankful to all the teachers who supported me.’ She plans to study Psychology at Warwick University. Kishonaa Sivanathan, 18, got three A’s in Maths, Economics and Psychology. ‘I had quite an emotional rollercoaster through A-levels,’ admitted Kishonaa, ‘and I would like to thank all the teachers who believed in me.’ She also hopes to go to Warwick to study Economics, Psychology and Philosophy. Andrei Simion, 18, got two A*’s in History and Politics and an A in Economics. ‘I’m absolutely buzzing!’ he said. He plans to study Law in Glasgow.

‘These A-level results are a testament to the vibrant learning environment we have cultivated here at Claremont,’ concluded Ms Hyde-Boughey. ‘I wish all the students the very best with the next steps in their exciting journeys.’
